FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Question:
How often should I repaint and pressure wash my house.

Answer:
Depends if your area requires frequent washing to control mold and algae you should wash your house every 2-3 years. Repainting is a different story all together.

Washing with a chlorine solution will degrade the paint in time, so repainting will happen sooner. The best time to repaint your exteriors is when the paint has shown some fading and there is just a little peeling on the wood trim.

A good schedule is 5-7 years for repainting after the initial first paint job. The type of paint used will also affect this time frame.

Question:
What paint to use to paint kitchen cupboards?

Answer:
We recommend using enamel or melamine paint. You have a few choices in the finish. Gloss, semi gloss or satin finishes are most commonly used. The higher the gloss, the stronger the finish and the easier it will be to clean. If you want less shine, consider the semi gloss finish.

Question:
What is Elastomeric?

Answer
Elastomeric; quite often called the possibly the best exterior finish. This coating is so durable it can outperform even the best exterior acrylic paint. Specially engineered to seal hairline cracks in your exterior surface. Elastomeric paint forms a durable, tough film that provides a waterproof coating to almost any structure.
